During Worship — GODLY PLAY
Age 3 through 5th grade
(After Children's Message or at
10:30 am on Communion Sundays)
GODLY PLAY os a way for children to explore Bible stories and religious ideas by way of storytelling and play response. It is based on Montessori methods of education.
Nursery (ages 0-4)
Nursery care is offered each week during Sunday School and worship.
For general information about the Christian education programs at IPC click HERE .
The Church School program resumes Sunday, Sept. 9.
"Grab 'n Go" breakfast -- bagels & cream cheese at 9 am.

Multi-Age Class (ages 5-10)
The class uses the "Holy Moly" curriculum. Children will learn stories of the Bible using video and crafts directed by the curriculum.
Nursery/Preschool Class
The children in the nursery preschool class will hear each week the same Bible story the older children will be studying in the elementary class.
Youth Class (grades 6-12)
The youth class will offer a variety of approaches for faith exploration and spiritual development via art, music, literature, cooking, and the "reForm:Ancestry" curriculum for the New Testament.
Adult Classes —
The Present Word — Bible study using PC(USA) curriculum materials to explore how the scriptures relate to everyday life.  Meets in Pastors Room off Fellowship Hall. Contact Dorothy Kyle to get a student book.
Thompson Lounge Class — We will have as our guest speaker for most of October and the first Sunday in November Rabbi Cary Kozberg.  He was our guest for two Sundays last Spring and some class members asked that he be invited back. He is retired from  Wexner Heritage Village in Bexley where he was Director of Religious Life for 25 years.  He now operates a service called Side By Side, Life Transition Coaching for Later Years.  Rabbi Kozberg will be speaking on the Christian and Jewish perspectives of sin and later on the death of Moses.  When he is not here on October 14, we will have a class meeting to discuss ideas for future classes..
