Nursery (ages 0-4) Nursery care is offered each week during worship. For general information about the Christian education programs at IPC click HERE . Multi-Age Class (ages 5-10) Exploring how God works through people and miracles, making use of children's literature, drama, games, and activities. Youth Class (grades 6-12) Using DVDs, music, movies, and traditional Bible study to explore faith in what is "Not Your Parents' Confirmation Class." Godly Play (age 3 to 3rd grade) (Meets during worship - see above)
Using storytelling, play, silence, and liturgical action to help children become more fully aware of the mystery of God’s presence in their lives. Adult Class (1/8 - 2/19) Theology in Music (or Musical Theology) A discussion of theology and faith as expressed in hymns as well as popular, secular songs. Class participants are encouraged bring hymns and songs for discussion. We might try writing a hymn for worship. Starting Feb. 26 -- A book study of Marcus Borg's new book, Speaking Christian , led by Eric Anderson and Karen Diaz. |
