Moonlight Madness Midnight Breakfasts — Just Up the Road from Jericho Road ![]() Each OSU quarter (fall, winter & spring), IPC in conjunction with the OSU Student Wellness Center sponsors a free midnight breakfast as part of the OSU Alternative Late Night Activities Program (aka Moonlight Madness). Church and student volunteers cook and serve a breakfast consisting of all-you-can-eat pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, fruit, milk, and juice. On May 15, 2009, we served breakfast to 550 people from 11 p.m. until 3 a.m. outside on the church lawn. A tent was set up to provide covered seating. Chris' Cakes was on hand to cook up and throw pancakes to all comers (see photo). A fantastic time was had by all. Our next Midnight Breakfast is planned for the 4th Friday night in October (Halloween Costumes welcomed). ![]() Throwing pancakes during the May 18th Midnight Breakfast. Tailgate Party Barbecues There will be Tailgate Barbecues on the church lawn on OSU home football game Saturdays from mid-September through November. We offer free food and fellowship to all who come by. Come join in the fun. (We accomodate parking for church members in the driveways of the church parking lot as it fills up with football parkers, so members can come join in the fun too.) |
